Has anyone had a shadow around the baby at 4 weeks, almost 5 weeks.? The shadow made it hard for the nurse to see the baby in the ultrasound.

You aren’t going to see a baby that early. You may see a sac but that’s it. That’s why ultrasounds aren’t done that early

I’m an ultrasound tech. The shadow is from gas. Ultrasound can not see through air which is why it’s all black.

Don’t worry you won’t see the baby till atleast 6 weeks, I’m high sick also my first ultrasound nothing, second a sac the third a little jellybean and the forth an actual baby!

I wish I could have an ultrasound that early :(! I was told I have to come back at 8weeks. 😪
