Appropriate for wedding?

If it’s not then can anyone tell me what would be or suggest some places to buy a dress?

To me that looks like a bridesmaid dress. So if that is one of the colors she is incorporating in her wedding,  it is inappropriate.  
It also looks a little juvenile to just wear because of how much fabric. 
Look for something more tailored and structured. Floor length is fine if it is more of a formal event. I buy a lot of dresses for events from jcrew, nordstrom, and asos.

I personally don’t see anything wrong with that dress for a wedding. The only rule at a wedding is not to wear white.

I always suggest to ask the bride over taking advice from strangers because every bride is different so what she wants might not jive with what everyone else is saying!
