Do your kids sleep better with white noise or without?

So my two year old son has been using a white noise machine since birth. We live in a house with a lot of people so I found it always drowned out sound. My son broke it today and I'm not sure if I should buy a new one or not. He seems to be ok napping without it but I'm scared hes not going to sleep as well at night with all the noise. Thanks!

My daughter is 11 weeks and uses one for all sleep while home. My oldest used one as a baby/toddler and then switched to a fan. I can not sleep without a fan either.

I have never had one. But I would just see how he sleeps at night without it and if he don't sleep well then I would get another one

I don’t use one at night but I do during daytime naps.
