Ob/gyn preference?

I don't mean this in a sexiest way. But everyone has their preference and I'm really interested to see everyone's preference.

As a survivor of sexual abuse and assault, I cannot handle care by a male doctor. It took a lot of work with a therapist to be able to even handle exams with a female doctor. Maybe one day I won't care but right now I had to make sure that everyone on the delivery team was female and that no male nurses would be present during delivery. Thankfully the office I go to is really accommodating but it was hard to find.

I care more about how they treat me than their gender. The one I've used for my 2 pregnancies is male and I've never had any issues. He's great, can make a situation feel less stressful, is great about me having to bring my 3 yr old to my OB appointments, etc.

Gender doesn’t matter to me as long as they are professional, responsive, attentive, and highly qualified.

I had a male and really liked him so I’ll go with him again the next pregnancy! I didn’t want a very personal experience with a doctor, I’m not even sure if that’s the right way to describe it. He asked what he needed to ask and sometimes a few extra questions I.e., “getting excited?”, “got the nursery ready?” and was very nice. I didn’t want a doctor asking about me or trying to get to know me or any of that. Tell me how the baby is, what I need to do, see ya next time!

With my first daughter, I started with a male. But he retired so I switched to a female midwife. And she is who will deliver my next as well. It doesn’t really matter to me

I’ve always had male obgyn’s but this time around, I have a female. No preference.

This is my first pregnancy so I can't say I prefer either but my ob is a male and hes honestly so nice and always answers all my questions. But it really just depends on the doctor I'm sure there's not so great ones and awesome ones in both genders.
