Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. But ye have not so learned Christ; If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

Ephesians 4:19‭-‬25 KJV

Verse 19 Paul is directing the Ephesian people to not be like they once were, or the unsaved people in their community. Those unsaved people have willingly given themselves over to wickedness. (Lasciviousness: absence of restraint, indecency, wantonness; an evil that comes from the heart).

Verse 20 Paul reminds the now saved men/women that the before mentioned evil is not taught by Christ. So if those things are in their hearts then it came from satan,or their own fleshly desires.

Verse 21-22 Paul is saying if the Ephesian people were taught by Christ then they would put away the old works, even their conversation would change. And that's the same for us. When we get saved our deeds, thoughts and conversations should change.

Verse 23 The command to be renewed in mind is for us to learn about Jesus. Learn what he did, and commaned of his disciples. Then let that be our mind frame and our actions.

Verse 24 We can only put on the new man if we're filled with the Holy spirit and obeying the Holy spirit. Its impossible for us to be spiritual without the power of God inside of us.

Verse 25 Now that we are of the fold of Jesus; we must be honest. We have to walk after truth and speak truth at all times. No lie should be found in our mouths..
