PSA‼️
Juuuuust a reminder because I’m seeing it a lot on this app, and I am not in anyway trying to be rude or belittle anyone so don’t take it that way.
The day you get your first positive opk is NOT the day you ovulate. Ovulation occurs 12-48 hours (on average) after your LH surge, which is detected by OPKs. Some may ovulate in 12 hours, others may ovulate 2 days later.
OPKs also aren’t a “confirmation” of ovulation. They only detect your LH surge that happens before ovulation. Therefore, you can get a positive opk and still have an anovulatory cycle.
Again, not trying to be rude just trying to educate so no hate please!
