Any moms in here pregnant after Gastric Bypass Surgery?!

I had gastric bypass surgery last April 2019... and found out I was pregnant about 2 weeks ago!!! Though we are very excited, im a little nervous for the baby... was wondering if anyone in here has had a baby or is pregnant after gastric bypass before the first year of the surgery? Please share your stories.

Yes I’m pregnant after gastric bypass. I had it Jan 22 of 2019. I got pregnant Nov 2019 currently 8wks 3days pregnant with twins. It’s been really hard with the eating part because I get so hungry but can’t eat much so I get hungry every few hours and tend to over eat then get sick. But that’s really the only thing that’s bothering me from the surgery while pregnant.

I had a vertical sleeve done in July 2019 and found out I am pregnant last month and due in Sept. 2020. So pregnant 6 months after surgery. I'm doing fine with eating. I don't have any morning sickness and actually have been pretty hungry lol. I eat an extra snack and meal now because I get hungry more often. I just had lab work done for my 6 month follow up with the surgeon and everything was good. Guess its the prenatals helping lol.

As I'm not in the situation as you but I had a friend who had the gastric bypass and a few months later got pregnant. She had a perfectly healthy baby girl. The only thing she said she had problems with was that she couldn't eat a lot without feeling sick. Her dr did give her vitamins and a meal plan to help with the nutrients for both her and baby. :) hope this helps a bit.
