Fried Eggs? Yess?? No???

I know many people say not to eat fried eggs during pregnancy. Thoughts? What have your doctors said?

You can eat literally anything that's cooked. I'm not sure why this would even be a concern.

I read that the “risk” of fried eggs is getting sick and throwing up. It won’t actually harm the baby unless you get dehydrated. I threw up from morning sickness and my baby is fine. I have also never gotten sick from a fried egg so I still eat them.

Yes. The risk is salmonella. And in first world countries you’re more likely to get salmonella from precut fruits and veggies and preface salads than you are from runny egg yolks. Same goes with listeria in lunch meat and sushi.
Eat the eggs however sounds good. They’re a powerhouse of nutritional goodness for your growing baby.

They say it probably because eggs can have salmonella. So the yolk also has to be cooked trough.

The only rule with eggs is that the yolk has to be cooked all the way through. So if the fried egg has a cooked yolk then obviously it’s safe🙄

I never eat eggs , fish or any hot item like papaya for first 12 weeks . my mother in law says it’s not good for baby as (his/har) heart is not strong enough to take all heat . If you can balance out what your eating like some heating food with something cooling like yogurt, why not . 
As I was to scared 😱 bcz I had hard time to have my rainbow 🌈 baby’s I didn’t eat .

You can have a fried egg just make sure the yolk is fully cooked (not runny)
