Are these teeth?

My baby is showing all signs of teething and is so unhappy and shoving everything and anything in her mouth but also crying when she does. But I’m not sure if these are teeth.  She is 8 months old

Yes, but they're not erupting any time soon. The gums will usually get red and a bit swollen first.

You will be able to actually see the tooth once it comes up. And feel it. The gums will likely get red and swollen, it will be fairly easy to identify once she’s actually fixing to have teeth erupt. The gums will have little holes/indents where the teeth are going to come in.

They’re pretty far below the gum line yet but that doesn’t mean they aren’t moving and causing pain.  My LO has had teething pain on and off starting at 3 months and his first two teeth are just below the surface of the gum line now at 4 1/2 months.
