freezing pills ?

hey guys i dropped my birth control pills in my car and left them in there for about a day and a half, when i finally found them. but in michigan it’s freezing cold right now. so idk if the cold affects the pills in any way? does freezing them cause them to be inactive? my mom says don’t worry about it, but i looked it up and it says it could cause them to be inactive.

Yeah it does, they’re supposed to be stored at room temperature
