Hobbies
Hi, Glow SAHMs! I am a SAHM to a beautiful 3 mo baby girl. She's amazing and the light of my life and I would do anything for her.
That being said, I do miss some of my old hobbies. I love knitting and painting and in general being creative. I used to sell what I made and I would REALLY like to get back into it. I have not had time to do any of this since before she was born. My little girl usually naps in my arms, and I'm 100% okay with that and not at all looking to change it. However, my little girl is pretty good at playing independently in her bouncer or swing or on a playmat. Would I be a bad mom if I took those opportunities to knit or paint? I'd be right there with her and I never leave her alone while she's playing. If she got fussy, I would respond immediately like I always. I would let her watch what I was doing and talk to her while I did it.
Would that be okay? I always feel guilty if I'm not directly interacting with her while she's playing. Am I a bad mom for even considering this?
