Has anyone taken Penicillin while pregnant?

My doctors office was full so had to go to a walk in clinic not my typical doctor. I have strep throat and 13wks pregnant. Has anyone taken Penicillin  VK 500mg for 10 days and baby was ok?. I've had a stillborn at 24wks 2yrs ago so my anxiety is up with every little thing. Sorry for dumb question.
This was a walk in clinic not a OB/GYN or my family office. This waz a random doctor reason for also asking

I had to be on antibiotics for a UTI a few weeks ago, and, in addition to double checking with the doctor, I also checked with the pharmacist when I picked my medicine up. Probably overkill, but better safe (and not constantly worrying while trying to get better) than sorry!

As long as the Dr you saw knew you were pregnant, then they would only prescribe safe meds for pregnancy.

YES PENICILLIN IS PERFECTLY FINE. That is the go to IV medication for BGS positive moms before giving birth so they dont give thw bacteria to baby. You doctor, especially an OB, wouldnt give you medication that could harm your baby.

Call your ob for confirmation but I believe it’s fine. That was the first thing my dr wanted to go to for my bronchitis but I’m allergic to it

I had strep at 8 weeks and they put me on amoxicillin (same family of drugs) and he is perfectly fine

Not a dum question,but check with your doctor first always before taking anything while pregnant....
