If your child is called Thomas, how would you write and pronounce the possessive form of the name? I'm a bit confused and not a native speaker 😬

I hate when people do Thomas’... it is just so illogical. You wouldn’t say it out loud that way... “Thomas room” sounds ridiculous. You pronounce the pluralizing s, so it should be written, too. Thomas’s room.

Thomas’s. Thomas’ implies that there is more than one Thomas you’re referring to (the plural possessive).
