Are anxiety meds allowed during labour and birth ?

I’m wondering if anyone has taken any to reduce stress ? I have only ever taken Ativan , would this be allowed

We keep it stocked on labor and delivery at my hospital. Im sure it will be fine. They will give you IV probably though. No need to bring your own in because they have to give you theirs unless you HAVE to have a specific brand for some reason and thwy dont carry it.
