I eat them regularly. And not toasted. To me it's about knowing the risks (food poisoning/harm to self and baby) and weighing that against the odds of such a thing happening. I only get sandwiches from highly reputable stores with well documented food safety. But I also recognize that what I'm doing isn't recommended. So really it's your choice.

I was a manager at a jimmy johns when with my last pregnancy. Needless to say, I ate a lot of jimmy johns. My son turned out fine. I say indulge a little 😊

My husband is a manager at jj and I was told that lunch meat is fine as long as it's heated up until it's steaming. JJ's doesn't have a way to toast it. Maybe ask for the sandwich with the meat on the side so you can hear it up at home?

That is all I wanted with my last pregnancy and same so far with my current pregnancy! I avoid all lunch meats though :/
