Gender Reveal HELP

So me and my boyfriend live in GA his family lives in SC and my family lives in FL me and my boyfriend have been dating for a while and we are pregnant well my family hasn't actually had the chance to meet him in person only a hello over the phone here and there and they want to meet preferably before a baby show which is way away I get my NIPT test done at my 10week visit which is feb 6 and I thought about taking him down (we were suppose to go in August but a hurricane came and the. We both work and have lives here) to do a gender reveal the only time that really work for me is when I'll be 12 weeks which is still within the first trimester(I told my mom because I'm 23 and she was who I wanted to know first in excitement she told everyone) so I'm wondering if a gender reveal would be okay or should I not rely on the NIPT test or should I just tell them via text ?
