Baby prefers dad over me

It’s been a week now that my 9 month girl has been preferring dad over me. If I’m holding her and he is around she cries because she wants to go with him.

At the beginning I thought was cute, but now it’s really upsetting me. I feel like I’m doing everything wrong and that’s why she prefers being with him.

When my friends complain about their babies being all over them, I even feel a little jealous.

I work full time and she goes to day care all day, I don’t have much time with her other than week nights and weekends, so I want to enjoy as much as I can.

Has anybody had this happen to them? Does it go away?
