Baby will only take sippy

My son is almost one and been off the bottle since about 7/8 months bc he kept chewing holes in them lol but he uses a soft spout sippy and he needs it to fall asleep and wont use a pacifier😬😔 he doesnt eat solids yet either (i try everyday) and lately has been refusing to drink from anything but his sippy. If he even sees any of his other cups (hard spout sippy, 360 or straw cup) he will turn his head and get upset. Im not sure what to do anymore. Im worried about his teeth. Could this be due to teething?
