What are some things that your baby is doing that “impress” you?

Today, he is clapping at the end of “if you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands” he also knows where his head and toes are at in head, shoulders, knees and toes! I was blown away!

These comments are the cutest. My boy isn’t crawling never mind walking. He closes the book when I open it. And laughs when I sing. But he’s just started nursery (daycare to you American folk 😉) and when I walk in to pick him up his eyes light up and his smile melts my heart. And has also started ‘sharing’ his food with me and I just love it 🥰

Her favorite book is “you have eyes, nose, mouth, etc.” she points to where they are in the book and points to them on herself too. She started walking a few weeks ago but now she’s damn near running🤦🏻‍♀️. She “rolls it” during patty cake. She understands a lot I feel like “bring me___” “give ___ to___”. She points to the correct thing when I ask her “where is___”. She “sings” along to songs- cutest freaking thing ever. She blows on her food when we say it’s hot lol. When she gives kisses she says “Awh!!”  
I’m so obsessed with her, I could keep going. But I’ll shut up now. 😬❤️ I love reading how smart ALL of these march babes are!

I asked him to put blocks in different size buckets and he did every time! We spent a good 5 minutes doing this. But he hasn't done it again since 🙄 lol

One of her books says something like “wave to monkey in the tree” so now every time she hears the word “monkey” she starts waving 😩💔 Also she just started imitating animal sounds like meow and bzzz (which is basically her blowing raspberries) 😂😍

Melody will now point to “eyes, nose, & mouth” she will also say “mm” if she likes what she’s eating lol

My little mimics language sounds. For example she says "ah ya-ya-ya-ya" and then gives a kiss. It sounds like a mumbled I love you. She also mimics the sound of "hi." These are not first words as she doesnt know what they mean but understands the pattern of situations in which we say them.
The only word she says is still "dada"

She’s finally signing “more” and “all done” consistently. She claps with songs and when she does something fun. She listens when I ask for something like “please give that to me” she hands it over.

Aww everyone’s littles are so smart! Recently my son has been reading emotions really well. During his bath tonight he would start to give my his toy then take it away, I would pretend to get really sad and he offered it again. When I took it I said thank you and acted really happy, he clapped his hands and giggled 🥰. He said our cats name the other day and loves to dance!

Mine can clap, shake his head no and is just start getting the hang of ‘wave’ when we ask him to, he loves sitting on his knees and has gotten so much more mobile in the last week and is finally starting to pull up 💞
Oh and he just learnt to stack and spends all day long trying to stash his toys away somewhere 😂
