Flu and racing heart ?

I’ve had influenza a since Friday and the last couple days I’ve noticed my heart racing more than normal. Is that a normal flu symptom or maybe unrelated to flu and more like a pregnancy symptom? 
Super weird and I just want it to show down so i can sleep haha
Edit: just took my pulse and it’s 93bpm.. that actually doesn’t seem that fast. Why does it feel like it’s pounding out of my chest?!

I have that occasionally but I don’t have the flu .. the doctor said it’s heart palpitations .. and it’s normal in pregnancy.

Make sure you’re hydrating. I’ve noticed that when I haven’t been drinking enough my heart seems to feel like it’s pounding even though it’s not going super fast. Also, I second the heart palpitation comment and palpitations can also increase if you aren’t hydrated and I’m sure you having the flu is adding additional stress to your system so make sure you’re resting and drinking lots!

I just had the flu and that happened to me too. My heart rate would be in the 90’s without even doing much, and you’re right it feel sooo fast!When you have a fever your heart rate goes up. Just stay hydrated and take Tylenol to keep your fever down as much as possible.

You may be dehydrated also, if you still have a fever that can make your HR increase

Get checked for pneumonia. That was one of my symptoms and after an XRay it turned out I had pneumonia 😷🤦🏼‍♀️
