I’m heartbroken, but I’m stronger than this 💪🏼
So, let me give you ladies a little back story. My ex and I had a big falling off. He was constantly cheating on me in every way possible it seemed. After six months of taking shit from him (we were together just over a year), I left. I had to continue to live there for almost two months due to the fact I recently turned 18 and hadn’t had money saved up to get into my own place. Him and I were still friends and we still slept together sexually until the very end of December 2019. In early January 2020 is when I moved. I had accidentally left my health insurance card and was very sick this last week. I politely asked him if I could swing by his moms to grab my card, and whatever mail I had there. He returned them to me. I later that night had messaged him thanking him for being so understanding and kind as to give them back (even tho they’re mine.) I admit, I was drinking. He quickly responded with a message that he was seeing someone and that he cares for her greatly. Then, he claimed I was faking being sick to see him. Boy, I missed work today and spent 3 hours in the hospital. So, I deleted the messages I sent to him because I’m my mind I was trying to be respectful and leave the whole thing alone. I soon get a message from his new girl. I don’t know her, and it was a big stab to the gut. For her to say that he gave me everything took a lot on me to not tell her of all the pain I went through daily with him. When she said he let me move my stuff into his house, that’s false. His mother offered for me to move in with her (he still lives at home), I was not the one to ask or bring up moving in with them. I just don’t understand. I will get through this. I will get over this. I’m already glowing up and it’s only been 2 months. I bought my own car, got a new phone by myself, and I’ve lost 40 pounds (in four months). I’m so sorry that there is really no point to this post, I don’t have many friends and needed to rant. Also sorry if this isn’t the right group.
