What should my dh do?

My husband is 27. Works full time, but he works for a construction company. He gets paid well, doesn't pay for gas. He loves the people he works with. BUT sometimes he doesn't get 5 days of work. Every winter seems slow and little work. We don't have children yet ( we are ttc). However we both want one if us home with our kids so I am going 2 b a stay at home mom. So once that happens I can't work. So my question is. We are looking at ictc schools. Aka business tec schools. He would only be able to go one night a week. We've thought about welding, electrician, hvac. What would you do and why? Please any opinions are appreciated
