How did your partner propose?

Hey guys, 
It’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything. 
I’m curious to hear other people’s stories about how they got proposed to. 
What did your guy (or girl) say when he/she proposed? 
My guy didn’t say anything, and I guess I’ve been feeling disappointed...was hoping he would have something sweet and romantic to say. I’m sure he was nervous, but you only get one (first time) proposal!

Long story short, he had my best friend come in from out of town. She gave me a card and rose that began a scavenger hunt around our town and the neighboring town to places meaningful to us. Other friends and family met us along the way. We had a shopping spree for me to get a new outfit and jewelry. At each place was a new clue with a rose. He set up a room at his grandparents’ house for me to change clothes and touch up my hair and makeup. He had gone to my house after I left and got my brush, makeup, and other stuff he thought I’d need and left it at his grandparents’. 
Then they took me to our church. When I walked in all the lights were off except a spotlight down the center aisle. Once I got to it, a slideshow of pictures of our relationship started playing. At the end, it said, “Turn around, beautiful.” He met me halfway up the aisle. He said some sweet things then got down on one knee. 
Then we went to a surprise engagement party he planned!
The whole experience was amazing, but I honestly expected him to say more during the actual proposal. He told me later that he got so nervous he forgot everything he’d practiced! That may have happened to your guy too!

My husband asked me in the kitchen. Not even sure what he said. I'll never hear the end of what I said... "you better not be fucking kidding around." My husband tends to think he is funny so I thought he was joking. He still says I never said yes. I couldn't even cry hahahah.

We went out to dinner at a really nice restaurant. When they cleared our plates he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Everybody was clapping, it was great!

Congratulations!
Hubs proposed at Chichen Itza while we were vacationing in Mexico. He got down on one knee, told me he loved me, and popped the question. There might’ve been more words, but I was in total shock so it’s hard to say. I had no idea the proposal was coming (though I had been hopeful).
I called my mom that night sobbing, asking her if it was a bad omen that he proposed where there had been human sacrifices. 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

He didn’t really propose. We met online through eharmony and after hundreds of hours on the phone and FaceTimeing each other at our first physical meetings I was preparing to leave he kissed my hand and said I would merry you today if I could. I laughed and said if that was a proposal then I could call some witnesses and we could meet at the courthouse. 
I called my sister to be a witness and was met with a surprising with a long list of profanity’s and don’t you dare.
We got married two months later in front friends and family. It all came together perfect.
