My baby is a year old now and we have decided to do controlled cry it out with her because she is just not a good sleeper and relies too much on us to put her to sleep all the time and my husband and I are just exhausted still a year into this! We started last night and it went surprisingly well. I noticed though she keeps playing with the mesh crib bumpers and it was just a distraction for her. Is she old enough now that I can just take it out of the crib? I know they say crib bumpers in general aren’t safe and not needed, but that’s why I got the mesh ones so she could still breathe if she got up against it. It’s so hard to know when to start changing things because our babies aren’t little babies anymore 😔 Thanks!
