My son had rsv 2 weeks ago, his dr. had me replacing whatever he didn’t eat in formula with pedialyte to keep him hydrated. His follow up appointment last week the dr said it was okay to stop the pedialyte, but every time he’s done with his formula, he cries because he wants pedialyte. I’ve tried halfing it with water to take away the taste some so maybe he would start to not like it, but that isn’t working. His longest stretch of crying was 4 hours and as soon as he finished 2oz of pedialyte he fell asleep. What else can I do?? Do I just stop giving it to him completely and let him cry it out for a few days? He’s almost 3 months old and has quite the temper lol
