20 week scan question.

Today I had my 20 week anatomy scan. Everything seemed to be going ok. Is it typical now that they also do 4D scans at this time?

My first baby we didn’t have the tech do 4D. That was about 2 years ago. So I am not sure why they did it today. She only did for a few short seconds on the head regions.

The tech asked me if I was seeing the doctor as well today but I wasn’t. After that she asked if I needed to go to the bathroom and we were done. In the room I made the comment how they didn’t do 4D with my daughter and the tech didn’t say anything.

After, my husband and I left, I said didn’t that seem strange and he said no. He said the tech told him that they do that now and only some of the rooms at that hospital have the 4D capability.

Should I be concerned about the 4D scan? I didn’t see anything obviously wrong.... but I have no idea what I would be looking at. Are 4D scans normal now?
