Does Vitex work?

Im from 36-100 day cycles. Has anyone taken Vitex and it make them regular and helped them get pregnant?

I had a miscarriage in August 2017 and knew from my pervious miscarriage that it messes with my cycle for a while so I started taking vitex and evening primrose oil. I took it for 3 months as directed by the bottle I purchased. My periods were regular, I was ovulating regularly and I was feeling more crampy around ovulation. 
On the 3rd month I conceived my rainbow baby. She’s about to be 18 months old.
