That’s honestly just a symptom of being in your third trimester for a lot of people. So yeah you can have diarrhea when labor is near but that doesn’t mean that labor being near is what is causing it.

I had pretty bad diarrhea the day before and was throwing up 36 hours before I went into labor at 36 weeks exactly. Just my experience!
