What pram system should I get?

Question

I’m a first time mum and I’m so overwhelmed with all the different prams you can buy! There’s too much choice - which is a good thing I guess but I just don’t know where to start! 
I’ve been looking at the Silvercross Wayfarer. Our budget is around £800. The only thing I really care about is having a car seat with it, if possible (that has an isofix base) and I wouldn’t mind it being quite light for lifting in and out the car. 
What have you all got? Would you recommend it?

I had the wayfarer for my first baby and I defo wont be using it again! No suspension at all and not very nice to push

I got the Cybex Priam. I haven't used my own yet but I have used my nephew's one when out and about with him and it's unreal. So light and easy to move and it fits in a Fiat 500 boot, which is teeny tiny 😂 I got mine in a bundle on naturalbabyshower.co.uk for half the price it would usually cost! Came with a car seat and isofix base.

We got the cosatto wow travel system. We got it brand new from eBay. Cost us £400 for pram, pushchair and car seat plus rain cover and changing bag/mat. It’s really lightweight and collapses quite small. They have lots of lovely designs too x

I had / have the silvercross pioneer which I don’t think is that different to the wayfarer just a bigger basket. 
I’ve a maxi cosi car seat to go on it as I wasn’t a fan of the silver cross one. It’s a lovely pram my only gripe with it is it’s not light at all. My son was a good size birth weight and by the time he was 7 months it was getting heavy to push anywhere that wasn’t flat. 
I’ll be using it again for this baby because there’s nothing wrong with it and it wasn’t cheap but if I could go back I probably wouldn’t get it again xx

I have the Silver cross pioneer which is very similar to the one you are thinking of. Honestly I don't like it. I've used it with 2 kids now and it's just so so heavy and takes up so much space. Getting it up and down the pavement is a pain in the ass if there is no dips and it's so heavy to push, I have to kick the bottom to get it up. 
I'm using it for my second child because it was so expensive I want to get the use out of it but given the chance again I wouldn't buy it.

We went for the uppababy vista pram and then got a joie car seat and isofix base. With adaptors the car seat fits the pram. We felt totally overwhelmed too so after some research we went to mamas and papas and John Lewis and asked for help in both shops. It meant we got to have a play around with them before making a decision.

We tried a new brand - Urban Pushchairs, we pre-ordered and were one of the first to receive it when they were launched. So far so good! We love it, very lightweight and easy to use/fold up.
I liked that the carry cot converted into the seat later on as I knew a carry cot would probably be wasted on us (we were right - she used it 3-4 times). But I also like that if we’re out for a full day we can just drop the straps and the carry cot is suitable for longer sleeping (we haven’t tried overnight but like the fact that she has a proper “bed” without carrying extra stuff!).
The whole set, pushchair, car seat and isofix cost us £550 and it was customisable too 🙂

Can get the bundles that include everything, they look amazing too!
