I used the spectra s2 with my first, when I have another I’ll go with spectra s1 simply because you can pump without being plugged into a wall.

Is there a chance you can get one free with insurance? I got a Medela Pump in Style with all the accessories totally free and it arrived two days after my doctor sent documents that confirmed I was pregnant. For a manual pump, Ive heard awesome things about the Haakaa and have one on my registry.

I love the lansinoh pump. It’s a good mix of the things I liked about medela and spectra. Medela is small and portable but open system so milk goes through the tubing and it’s hard to clean and prone to mold. Spectra is my closed system so no milk in the tubing and cleaner/safer but not as portable, too big to fit in a lot of pump bags. Lansinoh is both small and closed system, and had a battery option in the event you need to use it away from an outlet. Suction is great, I really love it and I am an exclusive pumper with 10-15 oz per session so it gets. A lot of use.

This is the one I used while I was pumping. It comes with 24mm and 28mm flanges though you can buy different sizes on Amazon through Maymom. I liked that it was quiet (it’s what I wanted when I thought I would still be pumping when I went back to work)
