This man

Is absolutely amazing, and let me tell you why!

My husband owns a marine service company and has a boat in that HAD to be finished today, he’s been stressing about it all week. So, I figured today was going to be a late day for him. Not the case. He came home his normal time and played with our boys acting like everything was peachy. Now, I stay home with our boys, aged 2 years and 7 months, and also own a dog training company, but we make sure we have family dinner 99% of nights and my husband is in charge of bath, lotion and jammies for our kids, and then puts our oldest down for bed while I nurse the youngest and put him down.

So tonight, we had a wonderful evening of playing and dinner and bath. After both kids were in bed at 8pm, he looks at me and says “I’m really sorry but I need to go back to the shop and finish this boat.”

I was kind of surprised and asked him why he didn’t just stay and finish it and his exact words were “I didn’t want to miss out on my favorite time of day” 🥰

And y’all, my heart just melted. This man puts so much effort into our family and being an amazing father and husband. We are lucky to have him.
