If separation is nessary, it should only be because it's the only safe way. This should not be with a view to divorce but rather so that you can allow God time to work and seeking his help to restore your relationship and resolve the difficulties.

This is a hard one. I divorced my previous husband because he molested my twin girls. He is in prison now for life, but I felt that in God's eyes, he had broken our marriage.

As a Christian woman you can leave your husband if he is abusive but you cannot leave the marriage.  So wherever you go remember that in Gods eyes you're still married. So if you must leave the house wherever you go be sure to be praying and fasting for your husband to get right with God so he can be changed into the man of God that God would be pleased with so you can return back home

God would not want you to be subject to emotional abuse, he loves you and wants you to be happy. Your partner may need help to learn how to love but that doesn’t mean you should stay with him if it’s hurting you. If you believe God would want you to leave him then I would leave.
