I’m 24 years old. About 6 months ago I noticed random pings of pain on my right ovary. I normally have pain when I ovulate but this was random and kept happening for weeks.

In August (2019) I saw my gyno and told her about it and she just like shrugged it off and said “yeah you probably have a cyst.”

I feel like she is always dismissive and never answers questions I have so I booked appointment with a highly sought after OBGYN. She also acted like it was nothing to worry about. Well today, 6 months later I’m still experiencing a ton of pain in my ovary and she did a pelvic exam and said every thing feels normal.

She scheduled an ultrasound for next week but I’ve convinced myself I have cancer. I don’t even know what to expect from posting this other than typing it out here is giving me an ounce of relief and maybe seeing if you guys have been through something similar. :(
