It’s quite common to get it again however they will have you as a high risk patient from the beginning so lots more monitoring. They will get you to start taking blood pressure medication as soon as it rises and you will start aspirin early in your pregnancy to help you get further. I lost my first at 24 weeks to preeclampsia, had my second at 36 + 3 days weighing 1.9kg she was normal range 20 weeks and then somewhere between 21-28 weeks declined and went from 14th percentile to being born under the 3rd percentile. She is also 16 months now and thriving :) and I am pregnant again with number three haha blood pressure has already gone up too grrr
Pregnancy after preeclamsia
So I just had a baby at 36wks on Jan 7th and me and my huband would like to have at least one more baby in 5 years this is my 3rd daughter but first time I got preeclamsia diagnosed at 35wks turned severe at 36wks how Iikley is it that I'll get it again or that I'll get it sooner if I decide to have another in a couple years my husband said if its likely I'll get it again he'd rather not put me through that again and just get snipped and not have anymore kids but the thought of that makes me sad I wanna try for a boy eventually
