Baby shower timing?

When did everyone have their baby shower or baby sprinkle? I wasn’t planning on having a shower since we have most of the stuff from my first son... but hubby and my mother in law have talked me into at least a baby sprinkle where everyone brings diapers or wipes. When did y’all hAve yours? I’ll be 32 weeks pregnant tomorrow so I’m not sure if I should go ahead soon or wait until like maybe 36 weeks or so. (Having planned c section at 39 weeks)
