I’m really curious... what’s your enneagram?
Hello everybody! I am an enneagram 8, and I have a theory that a lot of 8’s are littles, and I wanted to see if that was true.
If you don’t know what the enneagram is, I highly recommend it! It’s so helpful for uncovering how to communicate across all relationships (friendships, romantic partner, etc.) and understanding why people respond to things/behave the way they do.

Here’s my theory!!!
Enneagram 8’s are known for being strong, assertive, and dominating—- AKA the complete opposite of being a little! 8’s hide their vulnerability in an attempt not to give people any ammunition to use against them. 8’s feel like they had to grow up too fast, and their walls went up early.
HOWEVER
When an 8 DOES let someone in, they are very soft and vulnerable. They crave being taken care of (often because they feel they have always had to take care of everyone else). When an 8 feels truly comfortable, they are said to “reclaim the childhood they feel that they lost”—- Meaning, in a relationship, 8’s often demonstrate “childlike behavior” including baby talk, loving stuffed animals, doing childlike activities (my daddy and I like to go to bounce bounce trampoline parks and we’re always the oldest people there!), etc. 8’s are often sexually submissive too because they are tired of being the dominant one from other areas of their life (like work).
Soooooo of course it’s possible that other enneagrams are littles too, but this description of 8’s displaying childlike behaviors in relationships is unique to our enneagram, and I want to see how many of you are like me!
