How long did it take you to conceive?

We've been trying for our second for 15 months now... Not sure what else we can do really. GP said they couldn't help us as there wasn't anything wrong and to just consider having one baby 💔 
How long did it take you? Is there hope?

Has anyone tried 'when sperm meets the egg' method? I've heard good things, but it relies of 6 odd days of BD... We barely manage 3 times with our best efforts!

Been working on it for almost 3 years 😫 one chemical pregnancy a few months ago, but that’s it! So frustrating. I have a step daughter, but no biological kids of my own. And I just turned 37 😔 getting hard to keep hope alive!

1 month and then miscarriage, now on an additional 9 months of nothing. Slow and steady...? Got a referral to a fertility clinic because I am over 35 but it hasnt been approved through insurance yet. I have a regular cycle, progesterone test a week after predicted ovulation looked good, good metabolic panel, hubby's counts are good. It is all black magic as far as I can tell.

Roughly a year for my first. I wasn't tracking at all (no apps, had no clue about fertility windows, etc) and was on the pill for years prior (and about 6 months on the shot). We had sex like bunnies.
We have been not trying/not preventing now since July. We aren't bunnies anymore...most months we are lucky to hit the fertility window twice, usually it's just once. I am not tracking ovulation but try to get it in at least 1 of the "high chance" days. No luck yet. 🤷‍♀️ if I am not pregnant by this summer I will get serious with tracking ovulation and temping and such

20 months of trying here with no success. I’ve never even had a miscarriage. My husbands sperm is good and my HSG test revealed my tubes are both very open. I ovulate every month on a perfect schedule, and I have a 2year old son that was conceived naturally after a year of trying, so obviously I can get pregnant. I went to my OB after trying for 10 months and she sent me to an RE at a fertility clinic. I’ve done 5 rounds of Letrozole with timed intercourse, 1 IUI, and now I’m getting ready to start my medication for my first IVF retrieval. If we were younger then we could afford to try for 5+ years, but that’s just not an option for us at our age, so IVF it is. My insurance doesn’t cover it, but we’ve saved enough to make it doable.
