Baby shower?

So when is everyone having their baby shower. My sister and I are planning mine for May 2dn. My sister said we should send invitations out last week of march is that too early? Also any baby shower ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I’m due June 2nd and thinking about hosting it the last weekend in April or first week of May. I essentially want to use my potentially last month of pregnancy to relax and finalize any last minute items for the baby. Even if she comes a little early I think this will give me plenty of wiggle room 🙂

Having two small ones since some of our family has like a 2-3 hour driving difference and it really wouldn’t be fair to expect either side to drive that far. My mom and sister are hosting one with my side and friends on April 4th and my MIL is hosting a small one with hubby’s side on April 28th. Baby girl is due June 6th!
