Period confusion😣

Late monday night I had light spotting for maybe an hour and then it stopped. Tuesday I had no spotting, wednesday I had no spotting most the day but maybe once when I went to the bathroom and there was light red/pink when I wiped. Thursday I had light spotting in the morning, then nothing friday or saturday, and today I have had light spotting again on and off through out the day. My period isn't due for another week, but could this be my period? Should I just count this as my period or could it be something else?

My periods are normally extremely heavy, changing my pad every half hour to an hour.
