Had a D&C end of December at 6 weeks and I'm still waiting for my period. My doc said it could take 2-8 weeks to get period and I'm going on 5 weeks now.

The waiting is awful and I keep wondering if maybe I managed to get pregnant again in this short time frame. I heard you're more fertile after a miscarriage.

I didnt think to do ovulation tests and my doc never did bloodwork after to see if my HCG went to zero so I'm wondering if it's worth it to take a pregnancy test. Anyone been in a similar situation or have any advice?
