I am having so much trouble deciding what to wear to deliver my baby in May.

I am planning a home birth, and I will most likely be in the water for at least labor if not birth as well. I would also like easy access for skin to skin right after birth.

I keep hearing/reading to wear something you don’t mind throwing away afterwards because of blood and other bodily fluids that may be on it. So I don’t want to spend a fortune on all of the delivery gowns I have seen online. Did you have to throw out your birthing clothes?

Should I just get a comfy dress or gown at the store? What length is best? I was thinking like knee length because if I’m bending over I don’t want all my goods on display (we plan to take pictures throughout the process). I am also not comfortable being naked for labor/birth.
