Any advice?

I am going to see a doctor next week for help figuring out why my husband and I haven’t been able to conceive for the last 6 years. Do any of you have advice on questions I should ask? Things I should be wary of? What are typically the first steps? I’m so nervous.

They are going to make you fill out a ton of paperwork. Info about your cycle, etc. They will have the both of you get bloodwork to check your levels. They will want to test his sperm. The will most likely have you get an HSG test to check to see if your tubes are blocked. Once they get all of this testing done, they will set up a game plan for you. Do not be afraid to ask questions! They will give you paperwork about the different tests you need done. It’s a lot to take in at first but just remember it’s for a great reason.
