My husband was raised evangelical and I am catholic. We are looking into a new Christian faith that fits our family and grows with our beliefs.

I have found a Church where we live that I adore it is Lutheran and the Pastor has been amazing. He would like to sit down with us and talk. What questions should I be asking?

Our current situation is my husband felt forced to worship as a child and teen and now hates all churches. My uncle who is a non denominational pastor married us in a Christian ceremony. My catholic church hated it and I am banned from taking communion or being my Goddaughter's godmother because of our wedding. We had a priest present that is family but the church still didn't approve of our wedding. We now have a 8 month old. I am wanting him to be apart of a community and be apart of faith and God's teachings. Be baptized and go to regular sunday service.

What would you talk about with this pastor? My upbringing is so different and rarely had interactions with my priest and it wasn't always positive when I did.
