Menstrual Cups?

Question

I’m really undecided. I never did them before because I worked 12 hour days and didn’t want to be getting too involved down there while I was at work. Now, I have a different job and could do it. What do you ladies think about these?

I’m trying one out this month when my cycle starts. I’m starting with a Flex cup. If you want good info there are a few Samantha Ravndahl videos on YouTube of her reviewing a bunch of ones she tried out and also RawBeautyKristi did a review video of one too with a lot of info and answering questions.

I had a major irritation to it. Had to go to the dr to prescribe me and ointment... NEVER again. It was basically ripping my insides out when I took it out

I have the dutchess cup. I love it! I use liners for spotting switch to the cup. I work 10 hour shifts sitting. I was always stressed about leaks. The cup I dump it when I wake up and get home from work. I've only leaked twice due to overflow. The leak was only when  I wiped. I have lost my period stress!! I'll never go back

I use tampons the first two days then switch to a cup the rest of my days. I found that changing a cup at work was simply too messy. I love them though and use disposable Softdisc.

I love my Diva Cup. I work 11 hour shifts and I only have to empty it once during shift on the first and second day then the rest of the time I leave it in all shift. I just found that with tampons, on my two heavy days, I had to change every 3 hours or so which isn’t always possible with my job. Plus I hated having to carry them around with me. I always wear a panty liner with mine on my heavy days tho just in case.

I love mine it take a bit to learn them but they are wonderful after you get the hang of it. I can go 8-10 hr with mine so i can get though a full work shift without messing with it.
