How long did you wait to tell family that you were pregnant? 🥳🥳 I'm so excited I just want to tell everyone !!

I’m 5 weeks pregnant and planning to tell my mum and my hubby’s parents at around 8-9ish weeks and then everyone else at 12.

I told my family straight away I was around 6 weeks I couldn’t hold it in 😁 and everyone else at 12 weeks

I called my mom the night i got my first faint positive at 8 dpo lol. Then my husband told his family at 11 dpo when I got a positive on digital. We told them it was super early, but couldnt hold it in. We waited til 12 weeks to tell extended family, friends, and social media.

I personally wasn't comfortable telling anyone until we were 12 weeks. So we announced to everyone at 12 weeks! But you can announce whenever you feel comfortable 😊

Tell people whenever you want, a good rule of thumb is if you tell people early to only tell those who you would want to know you miscarried and would be helpful and supportive. If you miscarry, who would you want to tell...those are who I’d tell early :)
