I just seen a lot of women post stuff like "Should i break up with my boyfriend for liking this" and the other women usually say yes. So is it fine in reverse?

I think it's dumb either way. You're partner should be allowed to like pictures of whoever they want and have friends of the opposite sex. Such a foreign concept, I know...

It's a picture. Period. I can like pic and not want to have sex with the person in the pic.

I think if someone makes a big deal about posts you like, they need to work on themselves. My boyfriend and I don’t personally care about that sort of stuff. 
Social media can really mess with people, especially if they’re insecure, but it should never go as far as putting a big wedge between you and your s/o. 
Unless they’re like chatting with them and being sneaky in the DM’s, there’s no reason to care. 
I can’t stress this enough, liking someone’s photo really isn’t that deep. 
I have a dog. I like a lot of dog posts on Instagram. My dog doesn’t give a shit cause at the end of the day, I don’t want those dogs cause I have my own perfectly good boy who gets plenty of belly scratches.
