Nipple shield

I have one inverted nipple that has now become flat due to exclusive breastfeeding. However I’m trying to ween my 6 week old off of the nipple shield. For reasons of-I want to be able to not use anything and have skin to skin contact. And because it’s such a hassle when we’re in public.

Any advice?
