Anyone have knowledge or experience with rosacea ?

My physician believes I have rosacea in addition to the acne I have been dealing with since I turned 20. I had always had clear skin until 20. I had taken an antibiotic to prevent kidney infections for TWO years. About 3 months after I stopped taking the antibiotic I began breaking out in acne that left these red purplish marks after the pimple had gone. They fade but don’t go away. The only thing that clears me is antibiotics but not even 2 months after I stop taking them I break out even worse. I’ve been to dermatologist/OB/had blood drawn/etc. I just want someone with experience with this to tell me how they handled it.
