What are some good questions to ask a videographer ??

I’m getting married this December and I meet with a videographer and I was wondering what are some good questions to ask ?

Can I see some of your work?
How many wedding videos have you shot?
How much footage do you plan to get from my wedding?
What will you shoot? (Getting ready, ceremony, reception, leaving)
How long have you been shooting weddings?
Is it just you or do you have a second shooter?

Answer

Look at their sample videos and know if you like their style. Do you want them to ask your guests questions or do you want them in the background capturing but not being seen? Is there something you want but didn’t see in their samples?
Ask the time between the wedding and receiving your product.
Ask the backup plan if there is a technical issues, and what they do to prevent loss of footage. 
Ask if they are willing to take your input on the final product. We were sent our edited video and I did not like it. I replied with what I wanted, and he said sure no problem and two days later I had exactly what I wanted.

We didn’t ask questions really. We saw previous videos that were completed and booked based on their work. 
Maybe timeline that packages include to make sure it lines up with what you want to have on video. If they include audio equipment for the ceremony. If there’s a second shooter.
