My ex became my cousin...what does this dream mean

I keep having dreams about my ex from years ago and at first it was us walking and holding hands then it was him crying saying he can’t talk to me cause he has a GF. Now this one threw me off. So I dated him years ago and working to get over him after years of rebounding. In my dream my mom decided to become a lesbian and her partner was doing IVF or getting a surrogate. My moms partner was my exes new GFs mom so technically that would make us sisters since our parents were getting married. And you know how dreams don’t always make sense, apparently in some way that made me cousins with my ex since I’m not sisters with his GF. In my dream I remember telling a friend that I’m just now getting over him and he becomes my cousin and how and how I don’t think I could handle it.

Is there a meaning cause I’ve never had a dream like this?
